Dr Bernie Quinn PFHEA is an internationally recognised specialist in transnational education (TNE), with almost 25 years' experience developing international education partnerships across the UK, Europe and Asia. A Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he has held senior academic and executive leadership positions in universities and international education institutions, leading internationalisation strategies, academic development and cross-border partnerships.
Throughout his career, Bernie has worked extensively with institutions and international students, combining strategic leadership with practical experience in curriculum development, quality assurance and graduate success. His research and professional expertise focus on sustainable international partnerships that deliver long-term value for both institutions and students.
In 2021, Bernie co-founded Caledonia Education with his wife, Linda, providing specialist consultancy in internationalisation, transnational education and global partnership development.

Linda Quinn MBA combines extensive senior leadership experience in global technology organisations with a successful career in higher education. Before entering academia, she managed large-scale IT programmes for international banking and telecommunications organisations, gaining significant expertise in leadership, graduate recruitment, organisational development and talent management.
She later became a Business Management lecturer and Academic Programme Leader, specialising in programme leadership, curriculum delivery and supporting international students throughout their academic and professional journeys. Her unique blend of commercial and academic experience enables her to bridge the gap between higher education and graduate employability.
As co-founder of Caledonia Education, Linda works with universities and education providers to develop international partnerships that enhance institutional excellence while preparing students to succeed in an increasingly global workplace.
